Lesson 6 - Lessons in Positivity

Lesson 6 - Lessons in Positivity

Abstract: This lesson has five topics. Topic one explains our subconscious mind (SCM) and how it interprets what we say. Topic two gives examples of interpretation.Topic three gives examples of restating usage to get what we want. Topic four gives other qualities of SCM. Topic five uses the analogy of the relationship between Ram and Hanuman to tell us why SCM functions at our command.

Topic 1. About Our Subconscious Mind (SCM)

The SCM was born when we were conceived.  It records without interpretation. It makes straight sense of what it hears us say. Most of who we talk to is ourself. It acts on executable statements, statements that can be acted on. It keeps delivering very diligently.

For example I am going to the city centre at a busy hour. The first thought that comes to my mind is whether or not I will find a street side parking near the shop I want to go to. Naturally, I say this to myself: "Will there be a parking slot when I reach there." The SCM picks up the doubt and worry in the statement and creates situations multiplied times over because it thinks I like doubting and worrying in my life. The next thing I say to myself is this: "Where should I go to leave the car." Again the SCM adds on to doubt. However, having learnt positivity, I say this sufficiently in advance, for my SCM to organise parking for me: "A parking will be available outside the stationery store when I reach the main street." Or better still is this one: "A parking  will be waiting for me on arrival outside the stationery store when I reach the main street."

Topic 2. Examples of how our SCM interprets our mind talk.

When We Say

It Gives

I want

More time to get

I need

More needing

I should / have to

More effort to get

I will try to

Increased trying

Will I get (doubt)

Does nothing - Increased doubt

What if (anxiety)

Increases reasons, anxiety

Topic 3. How to use different words and syntax to get what we want.

Knowing these occurrences we can get our SCM to listen to our need so as to get it to deliver what we wish to have or achieve. This by using the appropriate sentence structure. Thus

Instead of

I say

I want

I am receiving

I need

I am receiving

I must / I should

I am

I will try

I am

I will get

I am receiving

What if

Things happen right for me

Topic 4. Qualities Of the subconscious mind

1. It is as old as our age

2. It is always at work, whether we are awake , conscious or unconscious

3. It is sincere in its execution

4. It works untiringly

5. It conserves energy and likes to rest

6. So it quickly executes and rests

7. It is very powerful. It does not know this. So, it has to be told.

8. It is networked with SCM of every living person in the world

9. It does not need to know. It works using synergy  with cooperation of other SCMs.

10. It always says Yes. Haan Mere Agaah

11.  It delivers in variety

12.  It is sincere and devoted

13.  It has unlimited resources

14.  It is goal seeking

15.  It is routinely doing a trillion operations a minute

16.  It readily gives up on occurrence of interference or someone assumes charge.

17.  It has many tricks up its sleeve

18.  It is always awake

19. It does not care to know, whether real or imagined

20.  Works 24 by 7 through our whole life

Topic 5. Analogy Of Ram and Hanuman - knowing the relationship between us and our SCM

1.  Face of vanar – simple yet intelligent.

2.  Swaminishta - Serves its master.

3.  Unaware of its power, it has to be made aware of what it can do.

4.  Power with Hanuman control with Ram.

5.  Both Ram and Hanuman do not fight together. When Ram takes over Hanuman rests.

6.  Vayuputra son of wind God. Very, very fast.

7.  Needs specific clear direct instructions.

Hanuman himself is very powerful yet dearly holds Ram in his heart.

Bambai Ka Raja Kaun? Undoubtedly our Subconscious Mind

Summary: We have learnt quite a few qualities of the subconscious mind. The most important one being that it is constantly listening and being busy implementing a trillion processes in our body is quick to act and deliver what it listens - straight. In the examples we have seen how the many things that happen to us or with us are actually self-generated. We can change the patterns of our mind talk and get what we want. The many qualities of our subconscious mind tell us that it has unlimited potential and is truly a slave. It is devoted to us like Hanuman is to Shri Ram.
