Lesson 9 - Lessons in Positivity


Abstract: This lesson covers communication. We will see how SCM cannot distinguish between truth and falsehood. How to generate an environment for delivering the message. And, lastly how to structure the communication so that the SCM receives it as intended.

 

Take good look at the picture below. We will cover topics appearing in this picture from bottom to top. 


It uses a power tower to represent the items. At the bottom are five necessary aspects before we deliver the assertion. These are much like the foundation of the tower.

 

They are capacity to implement positivity, having self worth, capacity for forgiveness (using the duster), having requisite skills of communication, and freedom from handbrakes. These the the primary requirements. Once we have capacity for all of them then the process beginning with structuring an assertion and ending with delivering it to our subconscious mind takes place. So essentially we need to acquire 5 = 7 skills at least by practice to make assertions work all the time. Most important is to change the nature of our mind talk.

 

In this lesson we are covering item 4. It is about the skills of communication.

 

Our Subconscious Mind cannot differentiate between Truth and Falsehood.

 

We have the freedom to speak the statements as white lies. Why?  Because our subconscious mind cannot differentiate between lie and truth.  Also because the difference between fact and truth is very fine. It is the same as the difference between History and Archaeology.  Belief creates fact and fact reinforces belief.  

Dhaniram and Sukhiram lived in the kingdom of a just king.  Sukhiram had given money to Dhaniram in safe keeping and as a saving. Sukhiram went to Dhaniram one day and asked for the money that was kept with him. Dhaniram  denied that he owed money to Sukhiram.  When many of his biddings did not work Sukhiram went to the king.  The king heard both the sides. He asked if there was a witness.  Sukhiram said yes there was a witness. His parrot was present every time he gave money.  The king asked that the parrot be presented in court at the next hearing. The king ordered that the parrot be kept in the court store till the date of next hearing.  Dhaniram was intelligent and also cunning. He played a trick. He stealthily went to the store of the court on the night previous to the next hearing. He carried a blanket, some water, a torch, a metal plate and a metal hammer with him. He put a blanket over the parrot’s cage to make the cage very. Then after a while he intermittently lifted the blanket, flashed light and sprinkled water over the parrot and made noise by striking the dish. This he did over a period of an hour or so. The parrot was presented in the court on the next day. The king asked the parrot to describe the time when the incidents took place.  The parrot said it was on dark nights that the money was paid. On new moon nights to be precise. It used to be raining and there used to be lightening and thunder.  Sukhiram was startled and at a loss to understand why his parrot was talking nonsense. However he lost his case and as a result his money both as well. A lesson to learn is that our SCM cannot make out difference between truth and reality. I believes what we speak to ourselves or tell our SCM. We can use it to our advantage by feeding make believe statements. It accepts them at face value and executes them.

Generating an environment for the SCM to receive the communication

We can use the under mentioned ways and dispositions to ensure that our messaging is received by our subconscious mind.

1. Be relaxed

2. Be sincere in what you are saying or stating

3. Be in the mood, very encouraging, pepped up, vibrant

4. Be  child like – child like enacting and pep

5. Be enthusiastic

6. Make statement as if it accomplished.

7. Make it while in or after creating Alpha state

8. Attitude and orientation matters

9. Make it in a language a 5 to 7 year old understands

10. Create a logic which gets SCM to read that it creates

survival of self

Structuring the Message / Statement

 

We need to remember that the SCM is both ageless and childlike. It understands simple statements. It does not understand numbers but understands what the numbers mean materially. Therefore the statements need to be:

1. A positive affirming statement.

2. A statement beginning with words I am ……

3. Worded in present continuous tense or better still present perfect tense.

4. Simple, clear, specific, unambiguous, being a direct command.

5. Supported by positivity, emotion, positive belief that it works, self worth. 

6. Much like the way father addresses son / daughter.  

7. Worded as if receiving not as something I want , need, desire, expect.

8. Accompanied by a dynamic emotion.

9. Carrying words or something better.

10. Beginning as an affirmation with words I am…..

11. So delivered that we believe that they will come true for us.

 

Examples: I am reaching Nal Stop well in time for the meeting at 9 am. I am finding myself at the meeting place at 9am for the meeting.  I find myself seated in Samudra Restaurant with my friend XXX conducting the scheduled meeting at 9am. I see my self on the other side of this road block. This traffic makes way for me magically. I see myself reaching on time and seated on seat 9 of Rajdhani Train to Delhi. A parking slot is waiting for me as I reach Taraporewala on PM Road at 10:30. Success comes to me easily. Everything works out right for me all the time.

 

Important Note: Please read this section many times. Understand each item carefully. They are the primary ten needs to make statements work for us. Read the end part of the Siddharamaiah Story. Know what the Genie told him.  There is deep meaning. It needs to be imbibed in full.

 

Using the EFT Method

EFT means emotional freedom technique.  It activates certain pressure points which helps to plant the affirmation to SCM fast and effortlessly. I recommend using this method only when you have gained expertise and find that other methods do not work. Why? Because it is very powerful. Bring index, middle and ring finger at level.

 

Now say the affirmation as you tap  five times or so at these locations

 

1. On top of head just a little ahead to the dip

2. Forehead at 3rd eye point

3. Side of eyes soft spots

4. Below eye in socket

5. Below nose on upper lip

6. Below collar bone

7. On wings below armpit

Summary : This method tells us many things about how to create an environment for SCM to be planted and structuring the communication correctly.
